Our Journey

The Story Behind Grandma’s Land

Founded by a dedicated military wife, Grandma’s Land was established to address the unique challenges faced by veterans returning to civilian life. Understanding the importance of a supportive community, we launched our first program in 2018, aiming to provide vital resources. Since then, we have expanded our services, empowering countless veterans in their journey to recovery, self-sufficiency, and purpose.

From our humble beginnings, Grandma’s Land has grown into a comprehensive support system for veterans. We remain committed to continually addressing their needs and fostering a sense of belonging and purpose within our community.

Dedicated to Serving Veterans

Jennifer M. Harris

As the founder of Grandma’s Land, I lead the vision and direction of our mission to support veterans in rebuilding their lives. I oversee program development, partnerships, and overall operations to ensure every veteran receives the care they deserve. My role is to advocate, guide, and grow the impact of our community.

Kate Dolor

Helps veterans secure safe and stable housing by guiding them through applications and placement. She coordinate with landlords and agencies, and connect veterans to essential support services. Her goal is to ensure long-term housing stability and dignity for every veteran.

Jennifer Brown

Supports veterans in launching and growing their own businesses. She provide coaching, planning, and access to resources like funding and training. Her mission is to empower veterans with the tools to achieve financial independence through entrepreneurship.
